I would absolutely put these at the same optic clarity level as my Maui Jim sunglasses. I love the three position arms. A word to people who are used to people not being able to see your eyes- I got the ballistic bronze lenses and your eyes ARE visible more often than not. This is not a drawback for me because I don’t wear these at work but if you are seeking these for situational awareness where your eyes movements need to be discreet then the only time that will happen is in very bright sunlight that you are facing. Again— not a huge deal for me because I wear these for fun and socially. Purchased these for a trip to Mexico with family and for general use in the US and they have been nothing but compliments. The matte lenses are very well implemented and the optical clarity as the wearer is outstanding. I have two of these pictures are the same area in Mexico, one with the glasses in front to show the amber tint. I have been joking about these giving me the “Mexico filter”.
